Paydirekt casinos?

Hello everyone, since I saw a post about paypal payments in this category, I think I'm in the right place. Has anyone here ever used the paydirekt (or paydirect????) method for casino deposits? To be honest, I haven't tried it yet, but my friend said it's currently the most convenient method for those depositing from Europe. In my opinion, paypal or visa are more reliable methods, but who knows. He mentioned there are minimal fees for transfers. I've never heard of this method and have no idea which casinos accept it. So, sorry for the rambling and for bothering you with pure curiosity. What are your thoughts on this?

Hey b00b, I've used Paydirekt a few times for online shopping, but never for casinos. It's basically Germany's answer to PayPal, so it's legit. Not sure about casino acceptance though. Anyone else tried it?

Paydirekt is decent for regular online purchases, but I wouldn't use it for gambling sites. Stick to methods specifically designed for gaming transactions. Less hassle that way.

I've seen Paydirekt as an option on a few German-facing casinos, but it's not super common. Fees were low when I checked, but the processing times weren't great. Might be worth a shot if you're in Germany and don't mind waiting a bit for your funds to clear.

Paydirekt? Never heard of it. Sounds sketchy to me. I'd rather stick with good old credit cards or e-wallets. At least you know what you're getting with those.

@Ben.666 Just because you haven't heard of it doesn't mean it's sketchy, mate. It's actually backed by German banks. That said, I agree with sticking to more widely accepted methods for casinos. Makes life easier.

I've used Paydirekt for a few online purchases, and it's pretty smooth. But for casinos? Nah, I prefer methods with better buyer protection. You never know when you might need to dispute a transaction.

Paydirekt is fine, but limited. Unless you're in Germany, you're probably better off with something more universal like Skrill or Neteller. They're accepted at way more casinos and have better features for frequent players.

Thanks for the input, folks! Seems like Paydirekt might be more trouble than it's worth for casino use. I'll probably stick to my usual methods for now. Any other payment options you guys recommend?

If you're looking for alternatives, I've had good experiences with MuchBetter. It's designed specifically for gaming transactions, so you don't run into as many issues as you might with general payment methods.

I tried Paydirekt once at a German casino. It worked fine, but the withdrawal process was a pain. Took ages to get my winnings. Not worth the hassle in my opinion.

You know folks, I don't think about gambling like income, more like fun so I set an amount I want to spend. Other way it's easy to get carried away ya' know and start to try getting back losses which is true stupidity. That's why I prefer prepaid methods like Paysafecard. Can't spend more than I loaded up!

@lilbill Smart approach, mate. I do something similar with e-wallets. Keep a separate account just for gambling funds. Helps keep things in perspective.

Paydirekt, Sofort, Giropay... all these new payment methods popping up. Can't keep track anymore! I'll stick to what I know works. PayPal and Skrill have never let me down.

Has anyone actually had a good experience with Paydirekt at casinos? Seems like most people here are pretty meh about it. Maybe it's just not cut out for gambling transactions?

I used it successfully at a few German casinos. It's not bad if you're patient. But yeah, not great for quick transactions or if you play at a lot of different sites.

Why bother with all these fancy payment methods? Bitcoin is the way to go. Fast, anonymous, and accepted at more and more casinos. No need to deal with banks or e-wallets.

@denjiikun Not everyone's comfortable with crypto, mate. Plus, the value swings can be a real headache. Imagine winning big only to have the value drop before you cash out!

Paydirekt might be fine for everyday stuff, but for casinos, I'd rather use something with a bit more flexibility. Neteller's been my go-to for years. Easy to move money between casinos if you need to.
