WARNING: Just lost everything through account hack! Need advice and want to warn others

Thought I was set with basic security until bam - hacker cleaned out my whole balance in minutes. Using Stake (so no chance of recovery). Looking at my account history they somehow got in, changed settings, and made max withdrawals to different wallets. $18k gone, just like that. Still sick to my stomach. Anyone else deal with this? What security actually works?

1. Email compromise first
2. Password reset request
3. 2FA bypass through email
4. Account access

ALWAYS use separate email for gambling, unique passwords, and non-SMS 2FA!

saved by google auth + separate email

@lilyH only if hacked through casino fault (almost never) or funds still on-chain. once withdrawn = gone forever
